Is the floor water proof?

I was told by Mark that it was his opinion, and I have the text, that the electric mop that I have used that is designed for vinyl floors is what caused to the floor to fail. Even though the manufacture claims right on the box that the floor is water proof and the inspection proved that it was NOT caused by maintenance. I put 3 planks submerged in water outside for 3 weeks, you can see the algae. There was no negative effect.
