My mother had just passed away from cancer

My mother had just passed away that January from an 11 year bout with cancer. I had already started the demo and was planning to do the remodel myself. I moved in with my father because he did not want to be alone after losing his wife of 50 years. That April he broke his hip, lost his will to live and was confined to the bed. The remodel grew in scope and became overwhelming with all that was going so I had to find a contractor, consequently got my first quote from Mark Aleksin with Custom Kitchen, Baths and Beyond in July 2022. I had already Purchased Bathroom fixtures and flooring from Floor and decor, unfortunately there were shipping issues so the floor order got canceled. I had also picked out floors from Lowe’s but decided to go with Mark and his cousin’s flooring. This is significant because later Mark ordered the wrong color flooring that was no where near the color that I had already purchased or ordered from him. More on that later
